Burglary on O'Kane Street 10/27 West of McKinney.
Entry was made through an open window in the rear of the home.
Various electronics were removed from the home.

Beware Folks, there is a ring of thieves operating in College Woods. They are around during work hours. They operate during the day and during late night hours.
This same group also sells drugs and has been known to have daytime drinking parties for high school kids during school hours. Ask your high school age children who these people are, they are well known at the high school.
Also there is much late night activity in the area, usually between midnight and 4 a.m.

Signs that something is going on in a house near you:

- Multiple random vehicles that show up stay for 5 to 10 minutes and then leave.
- Cars that pull up to a house stay five minutes and the leave only to return to do the same thing multiple times.
- Cars that have the license plate light removed so you can't get a playe number.
- Large pickups with merchandise under tarps, rapidily unloaded from truck and into a home.
- Lots of baggies or vials disgarded in street.
- Individual vehicles pull up in front of one house (sometimes signaling with the car's stereo), an individual comes out of a second house and then both go to a third house for just a few minutes.
- Multiple individuals doing business in the darkness of an empty home.
- Unregistered vehicle(s) parked on the lawn of a home and used for "storage".
- Beware of homes were the resident is out and about all night, sleeps all day and doesn't seem to have a legitimate job or business.
